Il castello misteriosoAbbandonato da una carrozza durante un temporale, Tom decide di trattenersi in un antico castello misterioso, ma non sa che quell'edificio è in realtà il laboratorio segreto di uno scienziato pazzo che, grazie agli interventi del suo assistente Jerry, riesce a scambiare il cervello di Spike con quello di un gatto arancione, il quale fa amicizia con il piccolo topo, difendendolo in ogni situazione. Dopo essere entrato nel castello, Tom cerca molte volte di catturare Jerry, fallendo però miseramente per via del minaccioso "gatto-cane" che si ritrova dinanzi. Alla fine Tom decide di scappare dal castello, ma, ogni volta che apre una porta, da essa fuoriesce un animale che ha subito uno scambio di cervello. Tom implora quindi aiuto a Jerry, ma quest'ultimo, entrato nella sua tana, si finge essersi scambiato il suo cervello con quello di un leone, facendo così scappare Tom.

His wife, Nancy, wants him to get ready for his own birthday party. He wants his son Sam to help him. Sam is up in his room looking at pictures of Jasmine on his computer, and a poster of her arrives which he puts in his closet. Although it is Nathan's birthday, the family is enthralled by a visit from Cousin Desmon, who is now a count in Liechtenstein. While Sam is away getting equipment for his father with his friend Alex, his father gets sucked into the other dimension, and a creature from the parallel universe escapes, pursued by another. The first temporarily traps the second with its spit, attacks Desmon, and becomes a duplicate, absorning his thoughts from the unconscious body. The other manages to get free, and unable to find a human to mimic, finds the poster of Jasmine...

The infected victims, crazed by dehydration, begin attacking other residents of the neighborhood in gruesome ways. A group of locals, stuck in the basement of their building, behind the fences, and separated from their family members, band together to try to survive.
