グランギニョール全国から問題を起こした生徒だけが集められる孤島の学園に、転校生としてやってきた穂村イツキ。学園には19世紀フランスの残酷演劇「グランギニョール」の研究会があり、イツキは成り行きでその研究会に参加することに。研究会のメンバーや彼らを管理する教師たちも含め、学園に集まった人々はどこか怪しげな雰囲気を漂わせている。そしてある日、あたかもグランギニョールで描かれるような連続殺人事件が発生。イツキたちは逃げるすべもなく世間との通信も遮断された孤島で、死の恐怖と男同士の愛憎の渦に巻き込まれていく。

さんかく窓の外側は夜幼いころから霊が見える特異体質に悩む書店員の三角康介(志尊淳)は、除霊師の冷川理人(岡田将生)に能力を見い出され彼の助手になる。コンビを組んだ二人はさまざまな依頼を受けて除霊作業に関わる中、刑事の半澤(滝藤賢一)から1年前に起きた連続殺人事件について相談される。調査に乗り出して間もなく遺体を発見するが、その遺体には呪いがかけられていた。真相を追ううちに、二人は死んだ殺人犯の声を耳にする。
