Harmagedon - La guerra contro Genma (1983)Questo film d'animazione è chiaramente un classico figlio della letteratura giapponese degli anni '80 e si riallaccia al genere, molto sfruttato anche dallo stesso Otomo, in cui il mondo deve sottostare ad una grande minaccia che viene dall'ignoto e gli unici in grado di salvarlo sono delle persone apparentemente normali, per lo più esper, che però possiedono poteri psichici in grado di salvare la Terra. Quindi Harmagedon non rappresenta una grande novità nel genere (nello stesso filone possiamo ricordare diversi altri lavori nati nello stesso periodo), ma nel complesso risulta essere un prodotto piacevole da vedere

Dylan Dog - Il film (2011)Dylan Dog ha smesso di fare l'Indagatore dell'incubo e, per sancire con ancor più decisione il suo proposito di staccarsi dalla sua vecchia vita, si è trasferito da Londra a New Orleans. Si troverà però invischiato in un nuovo mistero quando verrà contattato da Elizabeth Ryan, una giovane decisamente affascinante che sostiene che suo padre sia stato ucciso da un vero mostro.
