简介

In a high-rise apartment young parents Alex and Mahsa live with their seven-year-old daughter Mina. Everything about the family is completely normal, uncomfortably real: Their home, their jobs, her school, the way they hold and love each other. The line between fact and fiction is blurred because THEY ARE A REAL family. Until completely normal turns into what they fear the most. Alex's injury opens the door to a malevolent force that attacks and dismantles the family one person at a time: A violent aggressor determined to prove that possession is real, unconscionably disturbing and very different from how it's depicted in the movies.

In an attempt to uncover the truth, Ân starts documenting everything through a vlog series titled Spiritual Stories in My House (Chuyện tâm linh trong nhà mình). During his investigation, he discovers an ancient talisman buried beneath the foundation and gradually realizes that the house is connected to a Lu Ban curse ritual passed down among construction workers — tied to a rumor that after nine ordinary houses, a mysterious “tenth house” is chosen for a dark purpose never meant to be revealed.

First, they find one of the living room walls covered with iron plates that reveal an expanding sepia stain. Afterwards, they realize that the stain is beginning to take the shape of a man climbing from the darkness under the house. Whenever they paint over the stain, it reappears. The evil events that took place in the house 100 years prior, are becoming the cause of strange occurrences. Soon, the couple is directly threatened by the evil history of their home.
