喪屍守護者末世病毒散播全球，受感染者的身體會在數週內產生巨變，最後化成恐怖喪屍。為了控制疫情，政府當局下令所有感染者必須馬上隔離，在嚴密的監察下進行這可怕痛苦的病變過程，但從來沒有人提及會如何處置變成了喪屍的病人。
