新鬼武者 Dawn of Dreams: The Story (2006)《新鬼武者 Dawn of Dreams: The Story》是繼以織田信長為主題的三部曲完結後，另一個新故事的開始。故事敍述統帥幻魔大軍縱橫戰國時代的幻魔王織田信長，在本能寺被明智左馬介消滅之後，原為信長部下的豐臣秀吉趁勢崛起，在信長死後統一天下，危害世間的幻魔也隨著信長的死而銷聲匿跡。文祿六年（1596 年） 6 月 29 日，天空突然出現了綻放著紅色光芒的妖星，已位極人臣的豐臣秀吉性格跟著大變，各地也頻繁的發生天災，久未出現的幻魔也彷彿呼應著紛亂的人心般再度現世。慶長三年（1598 年），秀吉突然下令將全國的櫻花全部移植到京都，意圖不明。此時出現了一位身著蒼藍色盔甲、手持兩把大刀，轉戰各地討伐幻魔的年輕武者，由於其勇猛過人，因而被稱作“灰燼的蒼鬼”。
