"A Máscara da Morte Rubra" (originalmente publicado como "The Mask of the Red Death: A Fantasy") é um conto do escritor americano Edgar Allan Poe, publicado pela primeira vez em 1842. A história acompanha as tentativas do Príncipe Próspero de evitar uma peste perigosa, conhecida como a Morte Rubra, escondendo-se em sua abadia. Ele, junto com muitos outros nobres ricos, organiza um baile de máscaras em sete salões da abadia, cada um decorado com uma cor diferente. No meio da folia, uma figura misteriosa disfarçada de vítima da Morte Rubra entra e caminha por cada um dos salões. Próspero morre após confrontar esse estranho, cujo "disfarce" se mostra vazio por dentro, sem nada tangível; os convidados também morrem um a um. O conto foi publicado pela primeira vez em maio de 1842 na Graham's Magazine e, desde então, foi adaptado em muitos formatos diferentes, incluindo um filme de 1964 estrelado por Vincent Price.
