프랑켄슈타인의 저주 (1957)

프랑켄슈타인의 저주 (1957)<드라큘라>와 함께 해머 스튜디오를 대표하는 공포 영화. 해머의 간판 배우인 피터 쿠싱과 크리스토퍼 리가 각각 빅터 프랑켄슈타인과 괴물 역을 맡아 특유의 괴기스러운 연기를 펼친다. 사형선고를 받은 프랑켄슈타인의 회상조로 시작하는 오프닝이 인상적이며 이 영화의 성공으로 <프랑켄슈타인의 저주>(1958)가 곧바로 제작됐다.
