The lyrical and monstrous are interwoven in Gloomy Valentine, a stop motion, animated short film that tells the story of Gloomy, a woman struggling to overcome the sadness of a broken heart. 매드 갓 (2021)잠재의식 속 가장 원시적인 공포에서 착안하게 이미지화된 고문당한 영혼들, 노쇠한 벙커 그리고 일그러진 괴물들이 있는 세계를 ‘어쌔신(The Assassin)’을 따라가보자. 이 영화 속 모든 세트, 생물체, 형상은 모두 전통적인 스톱 모션 기법을 활용해 수작업으로 제작한 이 애니메이션 걸작은 스톱 모션 애니메이션의 시대를 넘어선 예술에 대한 오마주일 것이다.
