앤: 영혼이 깃든 인형 (2018)앤은 심각한 정신 장애를 겪고 있다. 남편이 집에서 자살한 뒤로 말을 하지 않기 시작했고 인형과 대화를 하며 몸을 심하게 긁고 자해를 하기 시작한다. 이러한 그녀의 상태는 날이 갈수록 심각해진다. 이런 노모를 걱정하여 앤의 둘째 아들 닉은 매일 앤의 집에 찾아와 상태를 살피고 간호를 한다. 그러던 어느날 자신이 앤의 주치 간호사라고 소개하는 사라가 집에 찾아와서 머물게 된다. 닉은 그녀에게 앤의 상태가 심각하다며 자신이 직접 앤을 돌보겠다고 하지만 사라는 자신을 믿고 앤을 맡기라며 설득한다. 사라는 닉이 집에 찾아와서 앤의 상태를 지켜보는 것을 못마땅하게 여기며, 이제 앤은 여기 없으니 그만 찾아오라고 한다. 닉은 무슨 소리냐며 사라를 다그치지만 첫째 아들 카일이 나타나 이제 그만하라며 어머니는 이미 돌아가셨다고 말한다. 충격에 휩싸인 닉은 아니라며 부정하지만 이 모든 것은 자신이 그토록 사랑하던 어머니의 죽음을 인정하지 못하는 아들의 망상이 만들어 낸 것임이 밝혀지면서 영화는 끝이 난다.
