해피 땡스기빙블랙 프라이데이 행사로 마을 주민 여럿이 죽고, 악몽 같던 날을 이겨내던 마을에 어느 날 정체불명의 살인 사건들이 발생한다. 별개의 사건으로 보이던 죽음은 이내 ‘복수’라는 이름으로 계획된 연쇄 살인 사건이라는 사실이 밝혀진다. 다음 사건의 희생자가 되기 전, 살인마를 밝혀내야 한다!

사일런트 나이트Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)의 리메이크 작품으로 통속적인 슬래셔 공식을 그대로 따르고 있다. 크리스마스 이브의 한 마을을 배경으로 괴기한 마스크를 쓴 산타 복장의 살인마가 부도덕한 악행을 저지른 마을 사람들을 처참하게 살해하기 시작한다. 그리고 그 산타를 잡기 위해 여형사 오브리가 활약한다. 과연 산타는 무슨 연유로 이렇게 악행을 자행하는 것일까?

줄리아의 눈선천적 시력장애로 고통 받고 있는 줄리아는 같은 증세로 이미 시력을 상실한 쌍둥이 언니 사라의 죽음에 큰 충격을 받는다. 언니의 자살에 의문을 품은 그녀는 남편의 만류에도 불구하고 주변을 조사하기 시작한다. 기묘한 분위기의 수상한 이웃들과 정체를 알 수 없는 사라의 남자친구, 무언가 감추고 있는 듯한 남편의 이상한 행동들… 파헤칠 수록 의혹은 더욱 커져만 가고, 그러던 중 남편의 실종으로 더욱 큰 불안감에 휩싸이게 된 줄리아. 그녀의 시력은 점점 악화되기 시작하는데….
