줄거리

Five teenage thieves are challenged by a local bartender to stay overnight in the supposedly haunted catacombs of a nearby cemetery, who promises them a rare treasure if they can make it through the night.

댄스 오브 더 데드고등학교 졸업파티를 앞둔 아이들. 학생부회장인 린제이는 파티 준비에 바쁜데다가 남자친구 지미가 그다지 관심을 보이지 않자 자신을 좋아하는 학생회장 미치와 함께 파티로 향한다. 미치는 마을이 내려다 보이는 언덕으로 차를 몰고가 분위기를 잡으려고 하는데 좀비들이 튀어나와 미치를 끌고간다. 린제이는 마침 언덕에 위치한 공동묘지에 탐사 온 교내 SF클럽 멤버들과 도망을 치고, 지미 역시 마을에서 만난 친구들과 좀비를 피해 도망다니다가 린제이가 있는 곳에 가서 합류하고, 파티장에 모인 친구들이 걱정되어 학교로 향하는데...

When a drive through the countryside surrounding their suburban community leads to the discovery of Wendy's mysteriously animated corpse, the boys secretly transport the un-dead Wendy to an empty house in hopes of somehow bringing her back to life. As the sweltering summer pushes on, they must maintain the appearance of normalcy for their friends and family as they search for ways to revive the Wendy they once knew, or, failing that, to satisfy their own quests for love amongst the living and the dead.
