Code of conduct (blog and forum)

This code of conduct applies to all posts, comments, forum threads, polls, and other community interactions on Horrorfilia. By participating in the blog or forum, you agree to these rules in addition to the general terms of service.
1. Scope
These rules cover the blog, forum, comments, user mentions, and any content visible to other community members.
2. Respect and civility
- Treat others with respect, even when you disagree.
- Avoid insults, harassment, humiliation, or personal attacks.
- Do not use discriminatory language based on origin, gender, orientation, religion, disability, or other personal traits.
- Assume good faith in discussions and avoid unnecessary conflict.
3. Allowed content
- Honest opinions about movies, series, games, or other catalog entries.
- Constructive criticism, debate, and well-argued recommendations.
- Questions, informative contributions, and participation in blog polls.
- Original content or properly attributed material that does not infringe copyright.
4. Prohibited content and behavior
Do not post or encourage:
- Threats, hate speech, violence, or explicit sexual content not permitted on the platform.
- Spam, unauthorized advertising, misleading links, or repetitive solicitations.
- Doxxing or publishing third-party personal data without consent.
- Impersonation or using accounts to manipulate votes or discussions.
- Piracy, illegal links, or instructions to access protected content.
- Deliberate unmarked spoilers that may ruin others' experience.
5. Spoilers and warnings
If you discuss endings, twists, or major plot details, mark them clearly at the start of your message. In sensitive threads, respect the author's labels or warnings.
6. Moderation
The Horrorfilia team and moderators may edit, hide, or remove content that violates these rules. They may also temporarily limit participation or suspend accounts in serious or repeated cases.
7. Reporting
If you see inappropriate content, use the reporting tools available on entries, comments, or the forum when provided. You can also email us with the exact link and a brief explanation.
