ズーム／見えない参加者新型コロナウイルスのパンデミックのためにロックダウン中のイギリス。ヘイリー（ヘイリー・ビショップ）ら6人の友人グループは、週に一度Zoomで顔を合わせていた。そんなある日、ヘイリーは霊媒師をゲストに招いて、皆で“Zoom交霊会”をしようと提案。仲間たちも賛同し、いつもの飲み会のノリで和気あいあいと交霊の儀式がスタートする。部屋の照明を落とし、蝋燭を用意して霊媒師の先導で進行していたが、やがてそれぞれの部屋で異変が起こり始める。霊媒師は除霊を試みるが効果はなく、不気味な現象は次第にエスカレート。ヘイリーたちは恐怖から逃れようにもロックダウンのため屋外へ逃げ出すことができず……。

スプリーフォロワーを増やしたい一心のライドシェアドライバー、カート・カンクル（ジョー・キーリー）はSNSをバズらせて人生の一発逆転を狙うために、乗客を手にかけ、その様子をライブストリーミング配信するという恐ろしいアイデアを思いつく。絶対バズると意気込むカートだったが、「フェイクだ」「退屈だ」というネガティブな反応ばかりで全く盛り上がらない。怒りの矛先は乗客だけでなく、拡散させないインフルエンサーにまで向けられ狂気は加速していく……。
