死霊館1971年、若い夫婦と5人の娘のペロン一家は、ロードアイランド州ハリスヴィルの田舎にある、いささか古いが屋敷のように広い部屋を持つ一軒家を購入した。念願のマイホーム購入を喜ぶペロン一家であったが、入居した翌日から奇怪な現象が次々と発生するようになる。ついに娘たちにもその危害が及ぶに至って、ペロン夫妻の妻キャロリンは、超常現象研究家夫妻として名高いウォーレン夫妻に助けを求める。夫のエドはカトリック教会が唯一公認した非聖職者の悪魔研究家であり、妻のロレインは透視能力を持っている。ウォーレン夫妻の調査の結果、その一軒家には戦慄すべき血塗られた過去がある事が判明した。ウォーレン夫妻はペロン一家を救うべく尽力するが、霊力の強さと邪悪さはウォーレン夫妻の想像をはるかに超えるものであった。

インシディアス

インシディアス3人の子を持つルネとジョシュの夫婦は、引っ越しの矢先、物が移動したり、ベビーモニターから不気味な声が聞こえるなどの怪奇現象に悩まされる。そんな中、はしごから落ちた小学生の長男が昏睡状態に陥ってしまう。検査でも異常は見られなかったものの、なぜか長男は意識を回復しない。恐怖を感じたルネは夫に懇願して再び引っ越すが、彼らの後を追うように怪現象は止まず、ついに霊媒師や牧師に助けを求める。

インシディアス第2章

インシディアス第2章幽体離脱して霊界へ乗り込み、悪霊に狙われた息子ダルトンを救い出した父親ジョシュ。ようやく平穏を取り戻したランバート一家だったが、ある日、ジョシュが突然何かに憑依されてしまう。かつてダルトンが昏睡して霊界とつながったのは、もとをたどればジョシュ自身に宿る特異な才能を受け継いだからだったのだ。やがて、一家を襲う心霊現象の大本に、封印されたジョシュの幼いころの記憶が関わっていることが分かる。

インシディアス序章

インシディアス序章霊媒師を引退して隠居生活を送っていた老女エリーズのもとに、あるとき、亡き母と話したいという高校生の少女クインが訪ねてくる。一度は引退したと依頼を断わるエリーズだったが、クインの真摯な態度に同情し、交霊術を試みることに。だが母親の霊を呼び出す声を聞きつけ、悪霊がクインに近寄ってしまう。交霊を中止し、クインに警告を与えるエリーズだったが、その日からクインの周囲では奇怪な現象が連続するようになる。
