ハッピー・デス・デイ 2U (2019)何者かに殺される誕生日を繰り返すタイムループから抜け出したツリー(ジェシカ・ロース)は、恋人のカーター(イズラエル・ブルサード)と楽しく過ごすつもりだった。ところが彼のルームメイトのライアン(ファイ・ヴ)が殺人鬼に狙われるタイムループに陥り、理工学部で学ぶライアンたちが開発した量子冷却装置(SISSY)が原因だと判明する。彼らは研究室に行き、そこで装置から放たれたビームをツリーが浴びてしまう。
