悪魔と夜ふかし1977年、ハロウィンの夜。テレビ番組「ナイト・オウルズ」の司会者ジャック・デルロイは生放送でのオカルト・ライブショーで人気低迷を挽回しようとしていた。霊聴、ポルターガイスト、悪魔祓い……怪しげな超常現象が次々とスタジオで披露され、視聴率は過去最高を記録。しかし番組がクライマックスを迎えたとき、思いもよらぬ惨劇が巻き起こる！

PANDEMIC パンデミック症状がレベル5まで進行した感染者は、凶暴化して人間を襲い始めるという危険なウイルスが蔓延するアメリカ。ある秘密と目的を抱えながら、CDC（疾病管理予防センター）のドクターとして、感染者から未感染者を守る救助チームへの配属を希望した女性ローレン。彼女の狙いは、本来感染者は救助不能とされるところ、ドクターなど貴重な人材の場合に限り、レベル1までなら治療できる特効薬を使えるという特権にあった。
