After losing their home following a devastating tragedy, a father and son are forced to move to an old family cabin. Neither reacts well to being thrown into this new world. The son's attempts to relate to his father are complicated when two old friends arrive for a weekend of hunting. This trip into the forest will unearth not only buried feelings of guilt and betrayal, but also a tribe of Sasquatch that are determined to protect their land.

サイレントヒル

サイレントヒルローズとクリストファーは、娘・シャロンの奇妙な言動に悩んでいた。ローズは、しばしば情緒不安定に陥り、何かに取り憑かれたかのように「サイレントヒル…」と謎のうめき声を発する娘に心を痛め、サイレントヒルという街が実在することを知り、治療のためにシャロンを連れてそこを訪ねることにする。しかし、サイレントヒルは30年前の大火によって多数の人々が死亡した忌まわしい場所であり、今では誰も近付かない廃墟と化した街であった。途中、女児誘拐犯と勘違いされて女性警官に追われるものの、二人とも帰り道が突如切れ無くなった街に取り残され、シャロンも後部座席から消えており、捜索、他の住人への聞き取りなど進めていくが不思議な現象に巻き込まれてゆく。

死霊のはらわたⅡ休暇を過ごす為、アッシュは恋人リンダと共に森深くたたずむ別荘にやって来る。退屈しのぎに別荘の地下室に入りそこで見つけた古いテープレコーダーを再生すると、そこからはかつて別荘の住人だった学者の古文書解読の経緯を伝える音声が流れてくる。古文書の呪文の一節を朗読するその音声は唱えてはならない古代の死霊を呼び出す禁句であった。突如リンダの様相は豹変しアッシュに襲い掛かってくる。防ごうと必死になりついにはリンダを殺してしまう。リンダを埋葬している最中アッシュ自身に死霊が憑依するが夜が明けたため死霊はアッシュからはなれてしまう。その隙に別荘から脱出を図るが唯一の帰り道にかかる橋が壊れていたためやむなく別荘に戻ることになる。死霊との戦いに供えているアッシュの別荘に現れたのはテープの声の主の娘だった。死霊との戦いで血まみれになったアッシュを殺人犯と勘違いした娘は仲間と共にアッシュを袋叩きにし拘束するがその時、またしても死霊が森の奥からアッシュ達を襲うべく別荘を囲み始めるのだった。
