The Quick and the Undead
The Quick and the UndeadThe movie takes place in the present, but in this universe, a plague has broken out and the infected have been transformed into zombies. No explanation is provided for the source of the plague, nor is it explained how the original victims were infected, since by the time the narrative begins the infection spreads by bite. Nevertheless, the action starts 80 years after the initial outbreak. The western United States has devolved into a disconnected series of ghost towns overrun by zombies, and the government is awarding bounties in exchange for the pinkies of the undead.
A Crime
A CrimeA murder takes place in a suburban high school. A mentally defective detective Delgado Rodriguez and his partner, the German ex-soldier-veteran Stilenacht, begin a wide-ranging investigation. The comically hapless duo go undercover, roaming the halls among the students, looking for clues. They have no idea what they're getting themselves into. Nothing is certain in this case. The film is full of pop-culture references and allusions, relentlessly peppered with corny puns that sometimes become an integral part of the plot and story. The film takes a similar approach to the mixing of genres; the crime film premise crosses into the realms of fantasy and horror in the course of a plot that is often self-contradictory.

One of these strange solar activities caused the formation of a small asteroid the size of the palm of a hand, which ended up on planet Earth, landing in San Juan Del Mezquital Zacatecas. By then, Maximiliano and his friends had finally killed their eternal rival, a cattle rustler named Salomon Montengro. However, days after killing him, they accidentally came across the Sun Stone and gained great powers. Feeling pressured by their enemies, Salomon Montengro's colleagues, Maximiliano and his friends, hid the Sun Stone in the most unlikely place: in Salomon Montengro's tomb. Now that Salomon Montengro was revived thanks to the Sun Stone, he plans to take revenge on Maximiliano and his friends. To do so, he killed his own colleagues and revived them, turning them into the living dead.
