オテサーネク　妄想の子供 (2001)実写とアニメを組み合わせて、シュールでグロテスク、なおかつどこかユーモラスな独自の映像世界を探求し続けるアート・アニメ界の奇才ヤン・シュヴァンクマイエル監督がチェコの民話を下敷きに描いた異色長編ダークファンタジー作。 なかなか子宝に恵まれず、寂しい思いをしていたホラーク夫妻。ある日ホラークが、偶然地面から掘り出した、どこか人間の形によく似た木の切り株を夫人にプレゼントすると、夫人は早速それをわが子に見たててオティークと名付け、周囲の人々の奇異なまなざしをよそに、溺愛して養育するようになる。みるみるうちに成長したオティークは、食欲を異常に発達させて、飼い猫から人間まであらゆるものをむさぼり食うようになり…。
