続・光る眼／宇宙空間の恐怖子供たちの無表情な顔と衝撃的なラストで印象的だったＳＦホラー「未知空間の恐怖／光る眼」の続編。但し前作のその後を描いている訳ではなく、大幅なアレンジを施したリメイク作。国連が全世界の学童を対象に行なった知能検査の結果、超人的な能力を持った少年少女が全世界に６人いる事を知った科学者たちは彼らをロンドンに呼び研究を開始する。そして彼らの母親の全てが男性との性交渉をしていないにも拘らず彼らを生んでいた事が分かり、学者たちは驚きの表情を隠せないでいた。そんな時、彼らの能力に気付いた各国はその力を国家的に利用しようと子供たちを急遽帰国させようとする。しかし子供たち６人は突然集まり始め、廃虚と化した教会に女性の人質を取って篭城を始めるのだった……。
