クライモリデッド・エンド5日間のサバイバル・ゲームで勝ち抜くと賞金10万ドルというTV番組の撮影で、“アポカリプス(=黙示録)”と称する森の中に選ばれた若者たち6人が集合する。キンバリーもそれに参加するため森へ向けて車を走らせていたその時、突然何者かが飛び出してきたため、ブレーキをかける間もなく轢いてしまった。キンバリーは生存を確かめるため、倒れた男に恐る恐る顔を近づけると、その男に一瞬にして噛み付かれ、さらには森の中から出てきたもう一人に、斧でカラダを縦に真っ二つに切り裂かれた。そう、この森は人喰い一家の棲む森だった。ゲームの参加者達は、何も知らないままその森へと入っていく。
