Il poliziotto si troverà in una posizione molto pericolosa perché le sue ricerche lo porteranno a fare luce su un mistero che comprende rituali esoterici e sacrifici umani, diventando alla fine preda della piccola comunità che si rivelerà essere una setta religiosa neo-pagana improntata su un rigido matriarcato, simile ad un alveare.
