Two teenagers sneak into a haunted castle on Halloween looking to have a good time. After breaking a statue in the castle, they awaken an ancient beast who teaches them a lesson about following the rules.

Saggio analitico su tendenze, ossessioni e pratiche dell'horror, l'esordio al cinema di Drew Goddard comincia come il più piatto teen horror per mutarsi, di sequenza in sequenza, in un lavoro totalmente refrattario alla stabilità.

Solo una cosa è certa, qualcosa sta tracciando una nuova sanguinosa pista allo Sleepaway Camp dove i bambini possono essere così cattivi e sopravvivere quest'estate sarà un vero assassino!
