Il castello degli spettriSono passati dieci anni da quando il milionario Cyrus Norman è passato a miglior vita e Cosby, il suo avvocato, riunisce i suoi sei parenti diretti nella casa di New Orleans per leggere loro le ultime volontà del defunto. Tra il disappunto dei presenti, solo uno di loro, Joyce, riceve l'eredità. C'è però anche un secondo testamento che subentrerebbe nel caso in cui Joyce restasse colpito dalla follia, diffusa e frequente in famiglia. All'improvviso però irrompe la vecchia cameriera, Miss Lu, informandoli che la casa è infestata dagli spiriti e che uno di loro li ha avvertiti che nella notte uno dei presenti morirà. Se a ciò si aggiunge la notizia che un pericoloso folle omicida è appena scappato, si può immaginare quanto si preannunci complicata e agitata la notte che i sei stanno per trascorrere.
