Scampato in qualche modo, Ash cerca di fuggire in auto, ma trova il ponte divelto. Torna la notte e Ash è costretto a rifugiarsi di nuovo nella casetta. Annie (Sarah Berry), la figlia del professore, e un collaboratore del padre vanno verso la casetta per prendere la traduzione del Libro dei Morti, ma trovano il ponte interrotto. I due assoldano perciò una coppia di avidi locali quali guide per prendere un sentiero alternativo. Intanto, Ash deve lottare contro la propria mano posseduta.
