L'ultimo esorcismo (2010)Baton Rouge. Il reverendo Cotton Marcus, che appartiene a una famiglia di ministri del culto da quattro generazioni, ha una crisi di fede che viene ben occultata dai suoi sermoni sempre coinvolgenti e ricchi di trovate. Chiamato un giorno per un esorcismo nel cuore della Louisiana porta con sé una mini troupe (cameraman e tecnico del suono) per provare che i cosiddetti posseduti non sono in realtà altro che malati bisognosi di cure psichiatriche. Aggiunge anche alcuni trucchi che dovrebbero servire a suggestionare la giovanissima Nell. La sua situazione familiare non è delle migliori. Il padre beve e la situazione, come afferma il fratello, è precipitata dopo la morte della madre.
