Fernando, a lonely and tormented man, gets a job as a night watchman in a warehouse close to being demolished. The building is huge, with several floors and wings interconnected by a confusing network of corridors and stairs. One night, Fernando hears strange noises and finds a gate open that should be closed. From that moment on, nothing will be the same.

Dans un autre endroit du pays, plein de fumée, de pauvreté et de working-class, un homme aperçoit la photo dans le journal, saute dans un train pour mettre à mal ce pur bonheur conjugal apparent.

La jeune fille éprouve soudainement des visions horribles de la petite-fille décédée et sa vie est menacée lorsque le reste de la famille conspire soudainement pour la tuer. Maintenant en danger, elle cherche la vérité sur la fille morte, tout en succombant lentement à la folie alors que l'illusion et la réalité fusionnent.
