Synopsis

Poltergeist: A Pixelated Horror is a puzzle game for PC/Mac/Linux, in which you are a ghost named Henry B. Knight. You will scare the tenants currently living in your house, so you can have some peace at last in the afterlife.

Players are able to walk on any route that has a path, though, which will mean turning the environment in order to create a way forward for the young woman. Players will also tangle with some strange puzzles, as well as the ever-changing surreal landscapes filled with skulls, alien hives, cave-like pupils, and other jarring sights. The game’s trailer hints at some of the discomforting music that will play along this adventure, looking to create a creeping sense of unease throughout the game.

As an employee of a mysterious organization your job is to monitor live surveillance camera footage and spot anomalies. Report any changes in the monitored rooms by clicking on the anomaly and selecting the type OR by choosing the right location and type of the anomaly from a menu to fix it. Anomalies appear at random so you never knows what is going to happen next. Too many active and unreported anomalies means death. Goal is to survive the entire night (from 00:00 to 06:00 in game time). You will need sharp eyes and good memory. The game contains psychological horror that mainly comes from making you paranoid about what has changed.
