Boo (1932)Cortometraje producido por la Universal que satiriza el género de terror usando fragmentos de Frankenstein, The Cat Creeps y Nosferatu. A pesar de que este corto fue producido por Universal Studios, los creadores decidieron no usar imágenes de su propia versión de Drácula, sino de la película Nosferatu (1922) dirigida por FW Murnau. Universal había obtenido una copia de Nosferatu en 1929, para a estudiar la película antes de desarrollar su propia version de Drácula. Este corto tiene también las únicas imágenes sobrevivientes de “The Cat Creeps”, película que hoy es considerada como perdida.

Mathias, as burgomaster, is called upon to conduct the inquest, but under the intuitive eye of the hypnotist cannot resist torment of his own conscience.

Versión alternativa al Drácula de Tod Browning interpretado por Bela Lugosi, que se grabó simultáneamente a la versión de habla inglesa, usando de noche los mismos estudios cuando el equipo de Browning terminaba su jornada diaria de rodaje. Fue el primer y último intento de la Universal de intentar abarcar el mercado hispano.
