Sinopsis

It's out of the frying pan and into George and Martha's rumpus room for a night of supernatural mambo jumbo when young H.P. and his slim-hipped wife, fleeing a monster of cosmic proportions, seek refuge on the campus of the infamous Miskatonic University in this outrageous parody of things Lovecraft and Hollywood.

Dracula Bites the Big Apple (1979)In 1979 Richard Wenk directed a bizarre short film by the name of Dracula Bites the Big Apple. It begins in sepia and a quote from Hamlet, but quickly moves into colour and disco as the titular Count boards a plane to New York to check out the “pulsating night life”. What follows is a blend of some very obvious gags, a handful of more imaginative ones, over-egged performances and an irresistible musical number revolving around a cover version of King Harvest’s Dancing in the Moonlight. Oh, and the owner of Studio 54, Steve Rubell, pops up in a cameo playing himself. It really is a genuine curiosity, an odd mix of comedy, horror, musical and love letter to New York which Wenk absolutely refuses to take seriously. Dracula Bites the Big Apple enabled Wenk seven years later to create the Grace Jones vehicle Vamp.

El baile de los esqueletos (1929)'The Skeleton Dance', o más conocida como 'La danza del Esqueleto' en Hispanoamérica, es un corto animado de las Silly Symphonies de Disney creado en el año 1929. Fue producido y también dirigido por Walt Disney, y fue animado por Ub Iwerks. En el corto, un grupo de esqueletos bailan y crean música en un tenebroso cementerio; los esqueletos usan el sónido de los árboles y de los animales para acompañar su baile. Fue además el primero de la serie Silly Symphonies de Walt Disney. Las notas musicales fueron creadas por Carl Stalling, que luego crearía la música de otros cortos de Disney. Mucha gente quedó impresionada con 'The Skeleton Dance' debido a que los personajes no hablaban.
