Meanwhile, Mayu's uncle Uchida Kazuki is a freelancer writer. He chases after the hideous monster Yoshie who attacks people. Kazuki receives a phone call that his niece Mayu ran away. He begins a search for her and finds her cellphone on a mountain path. He sees Yoshie's picture on her cellphone.

ひとりかくれんぼ 劇場版 真・都市伝説 (2012)Sakura Kurata and Kosuke Tsukamoto are members of the movie club at their high school. They then organize a movie shoot which which revolves around the urban legend and occult game "hide-and-seek alone". The game involves a ritual with a doll to contact the dead. The students persuade a teacher to allow them to shoot the movie at midnight in the school. The students begin their film, but they soon experience a lot more than they expected.
