Shuujin he no Pert-em-Hru is a Japanese freeware role-playing game developed in RPG Maker Dante 98 II by Makoto Yaotani. The phrase “Pert-em-Hru” references the Egyptian Book of the Dead, so the title can be understood as meaning “The Book of the Dead for the Prisoners.” The game was made by a two-person team, although Yaotani carried out most of the development work, and it took about a year and a half to complete.

Reines Du Sabbat (1995)Reines Du Sabbat is a JRPG developed by doujin circle Kenix who would later develop Corpse Party, this work became quite infamous on the Japanese internet during the late 90's and early 2000's due to its grotesque content to the point of being "quietly" distributed on freeware sites. The game takes place in the country of Serfina. In a small hut there lived a girl called Puff, together with her older brother, Lux. Since they've lost their parents at an early age, the older brother had to take the parent role and take care of his little sister. However, one day, Lux suddenly fell ill with a fever of an unknown origin, with no doctor able to help and him gradually losing his strength. Puff heard about a medicinal herb called the Snow Herb that can quickly bring down any kind of fever and went to the forest of Pia to find it. In the forest, being absorbed in the beautiful flowers blooming there Puff lost her uncle. This is where the game begins and Puff's journey will lead her to witness the cruelty of human beings...

The gameplay features turn-based battle gameplay, where characters use their Personas in battle against demons, and a separate Rumor system, where rumors spread around the city can influence events in the characters' favor.

Corpse Party (2015)Corpse Party (known as Corpse Party BloodCovered: ...Repeated Fear in Japan) is a survival horror adventure game in the Corpse Party series created by Team GrisGris. The game is a remake of the PC game Corpse Party BloodCovered, which in turn was a remake of the original Corpse Party game released in 1996. Several changes were made from the PC version, such as enhanced background graphics, inclusion of CG event artwork, and professional voice actors. The 3DS version adds improved graphics and extra chapters.

Waxworks (1992)Waxworks is a first-person dungeon crawl style role-playing video game. The player mainly moves around a series of tight corridors using a bitmap sprite-based point-and-click interface picking up items, solving puzzles, and engaging in combat with various horrific creatures such as zombies. During combat players can target individual body parts such as head and arms. The player loses all experience points and weapons once a particular level is completed, which ensures that there is a new challenge for each waxwork.

The Static Speaks My Name (2015)A dark/sad/weird/funny first person exploration game. You play a man on his last night alive as he obsesses over a mysterious painting. More of a story game in that it emphasizes mood and character over gameplay. Takes ten minutes to play and has "next-gen" features like a shrimp tank.
