Synopsis
"Saccharine" follows Hana, a first-year medical student who becomes obsessed with losing weight after reuniting with a friend who has undergone a dramatic physical transformation. Driven by her attraction to Alanya, a fitness influencer running an extreme transformation program, Hana decides to join her project. To get immediate results, she starts taking the diet pills her friend gave her. This triggers a severe physical deterioration and drags her into a dangerous downward spiral regarding her body image, influenced by a spirit that will not stop until it destroys her.
