Synopsis
Following the sudden disappearance of her mother at the hands of organized crime, ten-year-old Estrella wanders through a Mexican city engulfed in violence. When she joins a gang of orphaned children struggling to survive on the streets, she discovers that the spirits of drug cartel victims are haunting her. Guided by their imagination and the harsh reality of their surroundings, the children must confront both the real-world dangers of adults and the specters crying out for justice.
