Synopsis

Simterview with the Vampire is a 36-minute machinima mockumentary created using The Sims 3. Acclaimed journalist Jonathan Parker (Dean Roman Castiglione) accepts a mysterious invitation from Anastasia Vassiliev (Aylin Baykal), an ancient vampire intent on revealing her true nature to the world. Jonathan arrives at Anastasia’s mansion in the Hollywood Hills, where he is welcomed by her loyal familiar, Penny (Alvin Soprano). Throughout the interview, Anastasia shares her personal history and her philosophy on vampirism, while introducing Jonathan to her adopted vampire daughter Natalia Svetlitskiy (Evie Campbell), who remains forever fourteen. As night turns to dawn, the interview takes a darker, increasingly unsettling turn—culminating in a revelation that changes everything.

Phantasia
PhantasiaX-ray images were invented in 1895, the same year in which the Lumière brothers presented their respective invention in what today is considered to be the first cinema screening. Thus, both cinema and radiography fall within the scopic regime inaugurated by modernity. The use of X-rays on two sculptures from the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum generates images that reveal certain elements of them that would otherwise be invisible to our eyes. These images, despite being generally created for technical or scientific purposes, seem to produce a certain form of 'photogénie': they lend the radiographed objects a new appearance that lies somewhere between the material and the ethereal, endowing them with a vaporous and spectral quality. It is not by chance that physics and phantasmagoria share the term 'spectrum' in their vocabulary.

Das hat Folgen, denn aus dem beschaulichen und schönen Leben in Belgien geht es ab in die Verbannung nach Kanada, wo das Blutsaugerdasein alles andere als angenehm ist ...

Blood-C: The Last DarkEin Jahr ist vergangen seit den dramatischen Ereignissen in der Ukishima Provinz. Der diabolische und sadistische Fumito Nanahara hat sich nach Tokio zurückgezogen, wo er zusammen mit der mysteriösen Organisation »Tower« ein Schattenregime des Schreckens errichtet hat. Als Retterin in der Not erscheint Saya, jene mysteriöse Jägerin, die mit ihrem Schwert gegen alles Böse kämpft. Zusammen mit »Surat« erklärt Saya Fumito und »Tower« den Kampf, wobei sie nur von einem Gedanken besessen ist: Sie möchte Rache an Fumito nehmen, der ihr alles genommen hat. Saya ist zurück und sinnt auf Rache!
