You'll never look at a statue of the Virgin Mary the same way again. Based on the assertion that divine apparitions aren’t what they always appear to be, Vesuvius is an interesting take on the psychopath with Catholicism smacked against the background. Gio Alvarez provides a convincing portrayal of a madman, and people can even argue if this short inclines toward the supernatural or the psychological. Whereas Grave Torture uses darkness impeccably, Vesuvius plays with light so well.

Zombie III

Zombie IIIWissenschaftler entwickeln im Auftrag des Militärs einen bakteriellen Kampfstoff auf den Philippinen. Als Terroristen das Labor überfallen, tritt "Death One" aus und ein befallener Terrorist wird im Krematorium verbrannt. Dummerweise wird dadurch seine Asche vom Wind über die ganze Region verteilt und plötzlich stillen überall zu neuem Leben erwachte Tote ihren Appetit auf Menschenfleisch. Ein Trupp Soldaten und eine Gruppe Busreisender versuchen, sich in einem abgelegenen Hotel zu verbarrikadieren. Nur wenige von ihnen überstehen den ersten grossen Ansturm der Zombies. Also wagen sie die Flucht nach vorn ... verfolgt von Zombies und von Soldaten in Strahlenschutzanzügen, welche den Befehl haben, den Kampfstoff mitsamt allen lebenden und untoten Zeugen um jeden Preis zu beseitigen...
