Five high school friends skip class in hopes of finding the perfect spot to party. They chose the wrong place. Against all warnings, they break into an abandoned mental hospital, notorious for reports of ghost sightings, satanic rituals and demon possessions. Now, armed only with a camera, they are trapped inside, haunted and hunted by something they cannot stop, reason with, or describe.

Der Überlebenskampf wird nämlich live im Internet gestreamt, während zahlreiche Zuschauer über Nacht das Geschehen verfolgen, ohne zu wissen, ob der Horror real oder inszeniert ist. Können die Mitchells dieses perfide Spiel ihrer psychopathischen Einbrecher, die offensichtlich zu viel Freizeit haben, überstehen?

Megan is MissingEs geht um Megan, die im Internet einen Mann kennenlernt und verschwindet, nachdem sie sich mit ihm treffen will. Mehr sollte man nicht über den Inhalt wissen, denn der Film wirkt am besten wenn man ihn unvoreingenommen sieht. Von der Erzählweise ist das ein Found Footage Film doch die Schauspieler spielen glaubwürdig. Der Film besteht auch fast ausschließlich aus Dialogen oder Fernsehbeiträgen. Gewalt wird nie explizit gezeigt aber die Entführungsthematik wird in ihrer Grausamkeit sehr eindringlich verdeutlicht und dann beginnt das Kopfkino. Ich wurde sehr gut "unterhalten" und kann den Film Fans harter Filme nur empfehlen!
