Ulmad nõiamajas«Ulmad nõiamajas» on omamoodi paralleelköiteks viie aasta eest ilmunud ameerika õudusklassiku H. P. Lovecrafti lühiproosa paremikku koondavale kogule «Cthulhu kutse», mis pälvis lisaks positiivsele kriitikale 2018. aastal Eesti ulmeauhinna Stalker aasta parima antoloogia/jutukogu kategoorias. Käesolevasse raamatusse on koondatud kirjaniku kaalukamad lühiromaanid ja jutustused, mis avavad tema Cthulhu-mütoloogia kosmilist tausta ja tutvustavad kaugeid planeete ning võõraid dimensioone, kust selle kummalise panteoni jumalad ja asukad omal ajal Maale saabusid. Lisaks leiab siit ka kirjaniku tähelepanuväärsemaid lühipalu, milles ta esmakordselt tutvustas lugejaile vaid talle ainuomast nn. Lovecrafti maakonda – Arkhami, Miskatonicu jt paikade Uus-Inglismaad. Kogumiku kümnest palast pooled ilmuvad eesti keeles esmakordselt – nende seas ka kaks võrratut näidet Lovecrafti luuleloomingust.
