노틀담의 꼽추 (1923)중세 파리의 노틀담 대성당에 프롤로와 꼽추 콰지모도가 같이 산다. 대성당 앞 광장에는 온갖 거지들과 집시들이 모여든다. 그 집시들 중에 에스메랄다라는 아름다운 여자 집시가 있다. 프롤로는 내심 에스메랄다를 좋아한다. 그러나 에스메랄다는 자신을 구해준 피버스라는 자욕와 사랑에 빠진다. 프롤로의 계략으로 에스메랄다는 누명을 쓰고 마녀로 오해받게 된다. 콰지모도가 에스메랄다를 구해 성당으로 피신시키고 프롤로는 에스메랄다를 교수형에 처하려고 한다.
유령 들린 집 (1921)버스터는 은행직원이다. 그가 접착제를 엎어버려 난장판이 된 은행에 때마침 강도가 들이닥친다. 하지만 손이 주머니에 붙어버린 버스터는 강도들을 쫓아내지 못한 데다 자신마저 강도로 몰려 쫓기는 신세가 된다. 그는 강도들이 경찰을 놀라게 하려고 만들어놓은 유령 들린 집에 숨게 된다. (2004 아크로바틱 액션 개그 : 버스터 키튼 회고전)
