Tyler Stafford

Tyler Stafford is an American filmmaker, writer, and digital storyteller driven by authentic, unapologetic narratives and passionate theatrical images. Throughout his early creative career, he has directed over a dozen narrative and documentary films, worked with several world-renowned performing ensembles, and won multiple awards at competitive festivals that have seen Academy Award® nominees in their formative years. In 2023, his music-focused short documentary following the award-winning Waller High School Band screened at the UIL Texas State Film Festival and placed top 5 in a pool of over 650 films; in 2025, he was a camera operator on the short narrative Fragments, which received a silver medal in its category at the same festival. His commercial work spans clients and partners including Silent Command, Porsche Motorsports North America, Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps, and the UNT Green Brigade. A pursuing undergraduate at the University of North Texas, he is currently building Marble Films - a media production company that cultivates raw, candid narratives within the performing arts and produces experimental scripted projects. Through Marble Films, the performing arts, and a daring vision to realize what has yet to be imagined, he continues to cultivate his creative vision and share it with the world.
