Dakota Mayi Johnson (née le 4 octobre 1989) est une actrice et mannequin américaine. Elle est la fille des acteurs Melanie Griffith et Don Johnson. Elle a fait ses débuts à l'écran aux côtés de sa mère dans la comédie dramatique Crazy en Alabama (1999) et a été nommée Miss Golden Globe en 2006. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme d'études secondaires, elle a recommencé à jouer avec des rôles dans The Social Network (2010), Beastly (2011), 21 Jump Street (2012), Need for Speed (2014) et la comédie éphémère Ben et Kate (2012-2013). Elle a reçu une reconnaissance internationale en 2015 après avoir décroché le rôle principal d'Anastasia Steele dans le drame romantique Fifty Shades of Grey, qui l'a catapultée vers la gloire et lui a valu le People's Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress.
