Biografía
Rebbeca Marie Gómez (2 de marzo de 1997), conocida artísticamente como Becky G, es una cantante, compositora, bailarina y actriz estadounidense. Comenzó a tener reconocimiento en 2011 después de haber subido varios vídeos de ella misma interpretando remezclas de canciones populares en YouTube. Uno de sus vídeos obtuvo la atención del productor Dr. Luke, quien le ofreció un contrato doble con Kemosabe Records y RCA Records. En 2012, Gómez colaboró con will.i.am, Cody Simpson, y Cher Lloyd. Su sencillo debut oficial "Becky from the Block" (2013) tuvo una buena recepción después de su lanzamiento. Lanzó su debut EP, Play It Again, poco después. Su segundo sencillo, "Can't Get Enough" (2014), contó con la colaboración de Pitbull y fue número uno en el Latin Rhythm Airplay en los Estados Unidos. Su canción «Shower» publicada en 2014, ingresó al top 20 en el Billboard Hot 100. Tras esto, lanzó «Can't Stop Dancin'» (2014), «Lovin' So Hard» y «Break a Sweat» (2015). En septiembre y octubre de 2015 se embarcó en una gira junto a J Balvin, extendiéndose a través de los Estados Unidos.3 En 2016, apareció en «Superstar» la canción oficial de la Copa América Centenario junto a Pitbull. El mismo año, estrenó su primera canción en español «Sola».5 El 14 de julio de 2017 salió al mercado hispano su éxito «Mayores», en colaboración con el cantante Bad Bunny.6 La canción fue número uno en la lista Latin Airplay de Billboard. El 20 de abril de 2018, lanzó «Sin pijama», en colaboración con la cantante dominicana Natti Natasha.8El 8 de octubre de 2019, anunció su álbum debut, titulado Mala santa,9 el cual lanzó al mercado el 17 de octubre de 2019.
