Joseph Edward Penny Jr. ist ein in England geborener US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, der vor allem für seine Rollen als Nick Ryder in der Krimiserie „Riptide“ (1984–1986) und als Jake Styles in der Fernsehserie „Jake and the Fatman“ (1987–1992) bekannt ist. Angefangen mit einer kleinen Rolle in „Forever Fernwood“ im Jahr 1977, wirkte Penny in zahlreichen Fernsehfilmen und -serien mit, darunter Hauptrollen in „Riptide“ und „Jake and the Fatman“. Er hatte außerdem viele Gastauftritte in Fernsehserien wie „Touched by an Angel“, „T. J.
