Sydney Sweeney (* 12. September 1997 in Spokane, Washington, USA) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin und Produzentin. Sweeney begann ihre Schauspielkarriere im Alter von zwölf Jahren mit einer Rolle im Horrorfilm Zombieworld (2009) . Es folgten Gastauftritte in bekannten Serien wie Heroes, Criminal Minds und Grey's Anatomy . Ihren Bekanntheitsgrad steigerte sie durch Rollen in der Netflix-Serie Everything Sucks! (als Emaline Addario), in The Handmaid's Tale – Der Report der Magd (als Eden Spencer) und in der Miniserie Sharp Objects. Der entscheidende Durchbruch gelang ihr mit der Rolle der Cassie Howard in der HBO-Serie Euphoria (seit 2019), die ihr große Anerkennung einbrachte.
