Miranda Taylor Cosgrove (geboren am 14. Mai 1993) ist eine amerikanische Schauspielerin, Sängerin und Songwriterin. Ihre Karriere begann im Alter von drei Jahren mit mehreren Fernsehwerbespots. Cosgroves Filmdebüt erfolgte 2003, als sie in „School of Rock“ die Rolle der Summer Hathaway spielte. In den folgenden Jahren trat sie in einer Reihe kleinerer Fernsehrollen auf, bevor sie als Megan Parker in der Nickelodeon-Serie „Drake & Josh“ bekannt wurde. Im Jahr 2007 erhielt sie die Hauptrolle der Carly Shay in der Nickelodeon-Jugendsitcom „iCarly“, in der sie bis 2012 mitwirkte. Seit Mai 2010 verdiente Cosgrove 180.000 US-Dollar pro Folge von „iCarly“ und war damit die zweithöchstbezahlte Kinderdarstellerin im Fernsehen. 2012 wurde sie im Guinness-Buch der Rekorde als die bestbezahlte Kinderschauspielerin geführt. Cosgrove sprach außerdem die Figur Margo im Animationsfilm „Ich – Einfach unverbesserlich“ (2010) und in dessen Fortsetzung von 2013. Im selben Jahr wurde sie für den NBC-Piloten „Girlfriend in a Coma“ besetzt, der jedoch nach dem Ausstieg von Christina Ricci nicht realisiert wurde. 2016 spielte sie in der kurzlebigen NBC-Sitcom „Crowded“.
