Melissa Marie Benoist (* 4. Oktober 1988) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Sängerin und Produzentin. Ihre erste große Rolle war die der Marley Rose in der Musical-Comedy-Serie „Glee“ (2012–2014) auf Fox, wo sie ab der fünften Staffel zur Stammbesetzung gehörte. Weltweite Bekanntheit erlangte sie durch die Darstellung der Titelrolle in der Superheldenserie „Supergirl“ (2015–2021) auf CBS/CW sowie durch ihre Mitwirkung in den zugehörigen Medien des Arrowverse-Franchise.
