Biografie
Eleanor May Tomlinson ist eine britische Schauspielerin. Tomlinson wurde durch die Rolle der jungen Sophie in The Illusionist bekannt. 2008 war sie in dem Coming-of-Age-Filme Frontalknutschen als Jas zu sehen. Für den ProSieben Mystery-Thriller Hepzibah – Sie holt dich im Schlaf übernahm Tomlinson die Hauptrolle der Kirsten Schwarz. Ihr Durchbruch gelang mit der Rolle der Fiona Chattaway an der Seite von Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter und Anne Hathaway in dem Spielfilm Alice im Wunderland. Im selben Jahr war sie neben Sean Bean in dem Syfy-Fernsehfilm Lost Future – Kampf um die Zukunft in einer Hauptrolle zu sehen. Im September 2012 erhielt sie eine Nebenrolle in der Starz-Fernsehserie The White Queen als Isabel Neville. Im Februar 2013 wurde der Film Educazione Siberiana von Gabriele Salvatores auf der Internationalen Filmfestspiele Berlin gezeigt, in dem Tomlinson als Xenya zu sehen ist. Ebenfalls 2013 war sie in dem Fantasyfilm Jack and the Giants als Prinzessin Isabelle neben Nicholas Hoult zu sehen. 2018 veröffentlichte die Schauspielerin ein Gesangsalbum mit Traditionals und Coverversionen von Folkoldies unter dem Titel Tales from Home.
