Der dringend Tatverdächtige zweifelt mit der Zeit sogar selbst an seiner Unschuld. Nach einem Nervenzusammenbruch landet Paul schließlich in der Psychiatrie. Als er nach einigen Jahren als geheilt entlassen wird, plant er ein Comeback und erhält prompt seine Rolle als Dr. Death zurück. Doch während der Dreharbeiten geschehen erneut schreckliche Morde nach dem altbekannten grausamen Muster.
